VISA Information – Phuket
VISA info in Thailand can be location specific. This post is about EXTENDING 😀 your tourist visa while in PHUKET, Thailand. As of the date of this post, the cost to extend was 1900 baht. Make an appointment online. There were English speaking volunteers to help the process.
- 😀The office is on the bottom left of the building which is very accessible in Phuket town. The building is on your left as you enter the parking lot. Fill our the TM7 form for EACH person extending. It’s in Thai and English. It asks for your passport info, address of where you are staying and phone number.
- 😀 You need to attach a 2 x 2 photo to this paper and sign with photocopies of your passport
- 😀 You can get photos AND photocopies quickly and inexpensively in the shop at the other side of the parking lot
- 😀 Return to the office, submit to the volunteer (or whomever is taking the paperwork) and you are giving a number to visit a cubicle to drop off your paperwork and pay
- 😀 Wait for them to call your name, pick up your passports, extension and change if any
- 😀 The entire process took an hour but we had an appointment and were early
