Ontario-based Avidbots, which makes autonomous floor cleaning robots for commercial settings, raised a $70M Series C, bringing its total funding to $107M  —  Kitchener-Waterloo startup Avidbots has secured $70 million USD in a Series C funding round to expand its fleet of floor scrubbing robots.

Goldsky, a crypto infrastructure startup helping companies aggregate and process on-chain data, raised a $20M seed led by Felicis Ventures and Dragonfly Capital  —  Goldsky is living up to its lux name, announcing a $20 million seed round less than a year after the startup’s founding in 2021.

In an email to its employees, Twitter says that layoffs across its global workforce will begin on Friday to “place Twitter on a healthy path”  —  Employees said the layoffs came across teams, as Twitter broadly reduced its workforce.  Musk originally pitched investors on cutting Twitter’s staff up to 75 percent.
